Join Cathy, Julien and Charlie as they celebrate Earth Day under quarantine by sharing a reading of Dr. Seuss's, The Lorax, with you. This is book that is near and dear to Cathy's heart and has special meaning for her. As many of you know, immediately after the most recent U.S. Presidential election, Cathy spearheaded the grassroots organization “Send the Lorax to Washington.” Her brainchild was to collect enough books of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss to distribute to each member of Congress as a reminder of the importance to protect and preserve the Earth’s natural resources. Thus far, the team has delivered over 400 books to Congress. Based on its success, a second campaign effort was launched to present members of Pennsylvania’s state legislative members in Harrisburg with copies of The Lorax which garnered the attention and recognition from Governor Tom Wolf.
